Finland allocates 30 million euros as part of a Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine.

Finland has decided to allocate 30 million euros for the Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for Ukraine outside the EU.  This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. 

Finland will provide €30 million for the purchase of artillery shells for Ukraine under the Czech initiative.  We are grateful to our Finnish partners for this important decision and their unwavering support. Together we will win

- the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said in a statement.

A number of countries have already joined the Czech initiative to purchase the shells. Recently , Portugal announced that it will donate 100 million euros to the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine outside the EU. 

Also joined by Sweden  Poland, LithuaniaLuxembourgNorwayGermany and France
