On the eve of the first match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League against Serbian Partizan , Dynamo Kyiv said that they had decided to cancel all bilateral events between the clubs that were to take place in the context of the match, the press service of FC Dynamo reported on Tuesday, UNN reported.
Ukraine is currently going through the most difficult period in its history due to a bloody war with a terrorist country. That is why FC Dynamo condemns all those who help Russia, in particular, support Russian sports. Especially when it is done by representatives of European countries that support Ukraine. Taking this into account and given the recent participation of FC Partizan in competitions in Russia, we have decided to cancel all bilateral events between the clubs that were to take place in the context of the match
It is also reported that a decision has been made to refuse the presence of away fans at stadiums.
At the same time, Dynamo stated that it respects global football principles and traditions and adheres to the principle of fair play on and off the field .
“We are ready to compete and defeat any opponent in sports. In this way we prove the European nature and openness of our country and Ukrainian sport,” the club added.
