In the occupied part of Ukraine, the FSB comes to the home and checks for correspondence, and if they “find facts,” people have two options: either to cooperate with the occupiers, or deportation.
Petro Andriushchenko, the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, tells about this on his TG channel , UNN reports .
Details
The first deportations of relatives of Ukrainian soldiers from the occupied territories have begun. The first is the rural part of Melitopol district. In December, at least five families were deported only because their relatives are in the Armed Forces. The process is as follows. The FSB comes to the house, checks for correspondence, especially deleted correspondence. If they find it, including restored ones, they offer two options. The first is to cooperate and take part in the recruitment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The second is deportation. Period.
According to the former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, people are given a few hours to get ready, taken to Sheremetyevo and given the opportunity to choose a deportation point. That is, which plane to board.
Our interlocutors say there is no increased pressure or physical violence. Everything is deliberately polite (if it can be polite at all).
To recap
In occupied Starobilsk, the authorities put housing on the list of ownerless propertyif the owners were not at home during the inspection. Residents are forced to prove ownership of their homes within a certain period of time.
The occupation authorities have not paid salaries to the employees of the Berdiansk port for three months. The port is almost non-functional and is used only for the export of looted grain.
