The online communication between Yermak and Anikievych was made public by SAPO (Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office) representatives during a court hearing.
Who is Veronika Anikievych
Journalists from the "Schemes" project established that Veronika Anikievych is a 51-year-old Kyiv resident who presents herself as an astrology consultant.
On social media, she has repeatedly publicly supported Andriy Yermak. In the phone contacts of other users, she was saved as "Veronika Consult. A.B." and "Veronika Anikievich/fortune teller Yermak."
Anikievych calls herself the author of the Telegram channel "Lunar Clock" and indicates that she provides astrology consultations. In 2024, she registered as an individual entrepreneur with the activity type "provision of other individual services."
In addition, "Schemes" found her resume in leaks from job search websites. In it, Anikievych noted that she graduated from Kherson State Technical University with a degree in "Financial Analysis, Control, and Management."
Journalists also found out that her father, Fedir Anikievych, is a citizen of the Russian Federation. In 2015, he headed the district branch of the "Opposition Block" in Henichesk.
How astrologer Anikievych is connected to the "Yermak case"
At a HACC (High Anti-Corruption Court) hearing on May 13 regarding the selection of a preventive measure for the former Head of the OP Andriy Yermak, a SAPO prosecutor voiced new fragments of his correspondence with Veronika Anikievych, who was saved in the phone as "Veronika feng shui office." The contact name, of course, is a distinct monument to public administration in the era of messengers.
According to SAPO, the correspondence was found on an iPhone 12 seized from Anikievych. The investigation claims that this phone was used exclusively for communication with the contact "Andriy 2025."
In a message dated December 24, this contact wrote to Anikievych "Klymenko, Kryvonos," likely referring to the heads of SAPO and NABU. In response, she stated that Yermak and his interlocutor do not react to pressure, attacks, and humiliation, although the situation, in her opinion, is worsening.
Anikievych wrote that active actions in such a situation would not be escalation, but self-defense. She also warned that after pressure on Yermak, they might move on to pressuring another person.
Reminder
During a conversation with journalists after the court went to the deliberation room, Yermak stated that he did not consult with anyone regarding his activities while leading the OP. He also emphasized that he knows several women named Veronika but does not recall the details of communication with any of them.
