Due to damage to power grids, electricity shutdown schedules are still in effect in the Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih. This was stated by the Ministry of Energy, reports UNN.
Generation, transmission, consumption
Due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, shutdown schedules were applied yesterday in the Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih. Restrictions are still in effect today.
Yesterday, despite the fact that there could have been restrictions for industry in the evening, they were not applied.
Consumer needs were covered by own generation, imports, and emergency assistance (from Poland, Slovakia, and Romania). The volume of emergency assistance was less than 2% of daily consumption.
No emergency assistance is planned for the current day. Also, no restrictions are planned for household and industrial consumers (except for Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih)
Consequences of shelling
Yesterday in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of an enemy drone attack, a fire broke out at a substation, equipment was damaged, and household consumers were de-energized. The fire was extinguished by the State Emergency Service, and all subscribers were re-energized within a few hours.
Tonight in the Donetsk region, during shelling, an overhead line was damaged, and one of the mines was de-energized. At that moment, 131 people were underground – all were brought to the surface. The enterprise was re-energized within a few hours.
Network status
Yesterday afternoon, due to bad weather, an overhead line connecting consumers in Kharkiv and Poltava regions was disconnected. Household subscribers were de-energized – all have been re-energized.
This morning in the Mykolaiv region, a high-voltage overhead line was briefly disconnected due to technological reasons. It has been put back into operation.
Import/export
Electricity imports are forecast for the current day – 11,800 MWh. No exports are expected
