What is important
The Ministry of Social Policy answered a number of questions:
- if you have not yet digitized your employment record book, this can still be done after June 10, 2026;
- if you did not manage to submit documents by this date, the acquired employment and insurance history will not disappear anywhere;
- the paper employment record book remains a document that confirms periods of work and can be used during the pension application process;
- pensioners who have already been granted a pension do not need to resubmit their employment record book. All the seniority taken into account when granting the pension is already in the PFU (Pension Fund of Ukraine) information systems.
"The digitization of employment records is ongoing so that data on labor activity is stored in an electronic format and protected from loss or damage to documents," the Ministry of Social Policy explained.
