At the Porubne-Siret checkpoint, a Ukrainian tried to transport undeclared goods worth UAH 3.3 million across the border. This was reported by the State Customs Service, UNN writes.

On March 12, a citizen of Ukraine returning from Italy arrived at the Porubne-Siret checkpoint. Choosing the "green corridor," the man claimed that he was not carrying any goods that required declaration or were subject to restrictions on importation into Ukraine.
However, during the customs inspection, Chernivtsi customs officers found undeclared goods in his car: 407 items of clothing and footwear, 358 items of cosmetics, 14 amplifiers for unmanned aerial vehicles' antennas, as well as 7 bottles of wine, 90 packs of tobacco heating sticks and 289 packages of medicines subject to import restrictions.
Customs drew up 2 protocols on violation of customs rules on the grounds of Part 2 of Article 471 and Part 3 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The total estimated value of the temporarily seized undeclared goods amounted to UAH 3.3 million.
