Cuba has partially stabilized its energy situation after receiving about 100,000 tons of Russian oil, the first major shipment since the cessation of fuel supplies from the United States earlier this year. This was reported by Reuters, writes UNN.

The tanker "Anatoly Kolodkin" delivered approximately 700,000 barrels of Urals oil, which was unloaded in Matanzas Bay at the end of March. According to the American side, the delivery was allowed for humanitarian reasons.

After processing the oil at the Cienfuegos refinery, fuel began to reach consumers on April 17. As a result, power outages, which had lasted for several months, significantly decreased in some areas.
