The SBU and the National Police detained 6 more Russian arsonists in different regions of Ukraine. On the instructions of the enemy, they tried to destroy substations and power facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia using flammable mixtures.
Investigators report that all the defendants were recruited by the occupiers remotely through specially created networks.

A 33-year-old resident of Kyiv, who, after serving 10 years in prison for theft, cooperated with the occupiers, was detained in Kyiv region. On their instructions, the repeat offender set fire to a Ukrzaliznytsia relay cabinet that ensures the smooth movement of trains on one of the sections in Kyiv.
Another defendant is a 29-year-old resident of Boryspil, a gambling addict who hoped to “cover” his losses on sweepstakes with money from Russia. For this purpose, the offender also burned down another relay cabinet of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Four local teenagers, aged 15 and 14, were detained in Mykolaiv region. They set fire to a power substation that provides electricity to most of the residents of Pervomaisky district.
During the searches, the SBU seized clothes, flammable mixtures and mobile phones with evidence of the crimes. All the detainees were served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage committed under martial law).
