Ukraine has changed the procedure for the passage and accounting of humanitarian aid. The innovations concern the procedure for correcting errors in declarations after customs clearance. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, writes UNN.

The Government's Resolution No. 321 of March 21, 2025, which amends the Procedure for the passage and accounting of humanitarian aid under martial law, in particular, paragraph 9 of this Procedure, and regulates the procedure for correcting errors in declarations on the list of goods recognized as humanitarian aid after customs clearance, has entered into force.
In particular, according to the information, the changes apply only to vehicles imported as humanitarian aid.
How to correct an error
To amend the declaration, the recipient of humanitarian aid must:
- print the completed declaration and cross out incorrect characters in box 12 (no more than two corrections, each must be certified by the signature of the recipient's head);
- prepare an application for amendments and attach copies of the corrected declaration, the vehicle's technical passport, and other supporting documents;
The application must be signed by the recipient's head using a qualified or advanced electronic signature. The application and documents should be sent to the customs office that carried out the customs clearance of the vehicle
After receiving the corrected declaration by the recipient of humanitarian aid, he is obliged to inform the Ministry of Social Policy about the corrections made.
When it is impossible to correct an error
Changes to the declaration cannot be made if:
violations of customs rules regarding the declared vehicle have been detected;
there are no documents confirming the need for corrections;
none of the submitted documents imply that the information in the declaration needs correction.
