Immediately after the election results were announced, online searches for relocation to Canada increased tenfold, raising fears of a repeat of the situation from Trump's previous term, when thousands of migrants headed to Canada in search of asylum.
The responsible services and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are already on standby to properly control the border and manage a possible influx of immigrants.
