Austria has declared three Russian diplomats personae non gratae due to a "forest of antennas" on the roofs of diplomatic buildings that could be used for espionage, the government announced on Monday, UNN reports, citing Reuters.

"It is unacceptable for diplomatic immunity to be used for espionage," stated the country's Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger, confirming that the three diplomats have already left the country.
This brings the number of Russian diplomats expelled by Austria since 2020 to 14.
