President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today called on the Verkhovna Rada to convene immediately to consider a defense legislative package. As UNN has learned from its own sources, the parliament will convene on August 20.
"The Rada plans to convene a plenary session next Tuesday, August 20," the source told UNN.
The Rada is expected to consider draft laws on the regulation of trophy weapons, citizenship of foreigners fighting in Ukrainian legions, deprivation of state awards to traitors, and the ban on the UOC-MP in Ukraine.

Today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the Verkhovna Rada to convene as a matter of urgency in the near future to consider a defense legislative package, including issues related to, among other things, the regulation of trophy weapons, the citizenship of foreigners fighting in Ukrainian legions, and the deprivation of state awards to traitors.
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reportedthat it is also planned to consider in the second reading a bill to ban the UOC-MP.
