On April 6, the French border service detained a Russian citizen at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris "without explanation." According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, law enforcement officers seized the employee's computer and telephone.

In connection with the temporary detention of the employee, the French ambassador to Moscow was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. Eventually, she was allowed to enter France.

As a result of the demarches taken, our colleague was finally allowed to enter the country, but she had to spend a day in the border zone of the airport. We do not intend to leave this without consequences

She also said that the Russian Embassy in Paris sent a note of protest to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. French law enforcement agencies, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are not commenting on this incident.
