The number of victims of the Russian missile attack in Lviv has reached 30, a rescue operation is ongoing, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported on social media on Thursday, writes UNN.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported that "on Vygovskoho Street, a rocket directly hit a residential building. The warhead, which did not detonate, has already been neutralized. Ahead - work on its safe removal."
Rescuers, police, and explosives experts are working at the scene.

Earlier, 26 victims were known in Lviv.
Rescuers continue to free people from under the rubble. Kozytskyi earlier reported that due to a blocked stairwell, people from the damaged five-story building are being evacuated using a crane.
In total, more than 20 residential buildings, as well as a school and two kindergartens, were damaged.
