AFU seek foreign language experts via new service in Army+ app

A survey on foreign language proficiency has launched in the Army+ app. The data will assist in joint missions with foreigners and the creation of new training courses.

A new survey on foreign language proficiency and experience using them in service has launched in the "Army+" app. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to UNN.

Details

It is noted that the collected responses will help more effectively involve language experts in joint tasks with foreigners, as well as create language courses within the "Army+" app.

The survey covers several key topics:

  • level of foreign language proficiency by skills (speaking, writing, listening, translation);
    • experience using languages in a combat unit, headquarters, or during exercises;
      • readiness to serve alongside foreigners.

        It is specified that the survey can be completed in the relevant section of the "Army+" app until May 28. The functionality is developed and supported by the AFU Center for Scaling Technological Solutions.

        Recall

        Earlier this month, a new course titled "Basics of International Humanitarian Law" launched in the "Army+" app, aimed at helping military personnel make decisions during combat operations in compliance with international norms.
