The evacuated settlements in Sumy Oblast have already been evacuated by 39,000 people, including 7,000 children.
The head of Sumy RMA, Volodymyr Artyukh, said this on the air of the telethon.
As of today, we have evacuated 39 thousand people, including 7 thousand children. Most of them are children from the settlements where the evacuation was announced. We need to evacuate more than 100 children, I think it will happen soon
He added that most people are moving to safer settlements in Sumy region, with only 1,000 people leaving the region.
