On August 10, at 14:04, the operational dispatch service of Brovary district received a report of an explosion in Kalyta village on Naberezhna Street. The duty guard of the 22nd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Kalyta was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, the rescuers found that as a result of the detonation of the munition, a man born in 1991 had sustained severe injuries incompatible with life, a girl born in 2011 was injured and was hospitalized by paramedics to the Brovary Central District Hospital
The emergencies officials add that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
