PAS deputy Artemie Cătănoi, who is at the scene, said the drone fell next to a residential building, and rescuers evacuated its residents. According to Studio-L, the drone fell approximately 50 meters from the house.

According to Studio-L, the drone did not explode upon impact.

The head of the Căușeni Regional Emergency Management Department, Igor Calancea, explained that "preliminarily, it is a drone of the 'Geran-2' type with approximately 50 kg of explosives."

"There are three possible scenarios: neutralization, dismantling the explosive substance from this drone, or transporting it to a safe place for subsequent detonation," added Calancea, noting that specialists are awaiting the arrival of sappers.

PAS deputy Artemie Cătănoi, who is also at the scene, reported that "this drone is very dangerous because it is located directly next to a residential building."

"This drone somehow flew over the village and passed between two power poles. It caught on bushes and somehow landed. Now they are waiting for sappers who will determine further actions. The most optimal option would be to take it away from here, because, according to specialists, it has a very large radius of damage during an explosion. They even claim it could reach two kilometers," said the deputy.

According to Cătănoi, the residents of the house next to which the drone fell were evacuated. It concerns two elderly people.

"They also took their pets with them, and are now somewhere in the village," added the deputy.
