Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws that bring Ukrainian goods and the energy market closer to European Union standards. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Thus, draft law 4831-IX is a step towards the recognition of Ukrainian goods in the EU. The explanatory note states that the purpose of this regulatory act is to bring Ukrainian legislation in the field of accreditation of conformity assessment bodies and the technical regulation system in line with European Union legislation.
The law is a necessary condition for concluding the ACAA Agreement ("industrial visa-free regime"), introduces European principles for product verification, and strengthens the responsibility of economic entities for product compliance with technical regulations.
In turn, draft law 4834-IX provides for the official accession of the Ukrainian electricity market to the European one. As noted in the parliament, this document introduces new concepts (aggregation, flexibility, public energy associations) and ensures transparent and competitive conditions for participants in the energy sector.
