At a meeting of the European Council, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that it was important for Europe to contribute to security and added that Ukraine supported France in the military contingent.
"We support the initiative of France regarding the military contingent in Ukraine within these guarantees and call on other partners to join these efforts, it will help to put an end to the war," the President noted.

President Zelenskyy saidthat the US and Europe can bring the end of the war closer if the EU has a united position. He called for the involvement of the Global South and supported the French initiative for a military contingent.
