The document states that the law comes into force one month after its publication.
Addendum
It is noted that the document brings the system of protection of the state border of Ukraine closer to European standards.
In particular, will also provide for the development of a separate strategy for integrated management of state borders after its entry into force.
Also, according to the explanatory memorandum, the document proposes to amend the Law of Ukraine "On National Security of Ukraine" to provide for:
- definition of the term "Integrated Border Management Strategy";
- inclusion of the Integrated Border Management Strategy in the list of long-term planning documents in the areas of national security and defense;
- regulatory regulation of the basic principles of development and adoption
- Strategies for Integrated Border Management in Ukraine.
