President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed bills that were a commitment to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This was announced on Wednesday by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, UNN reports.
Details
Zelenskiy signs Law No. 10319 on tax measures to further combat bribery of foreign officials in international business transactions.
Also, document No. 11443 was signed to bring legal entities' liability for corruption offenses in line with international standards.
As Zheleznyak pointed out, there was “a little bit of discommunication with business” because there is a sanction for attempts to bribe a foreign official.
“These are very important steps for Ukraine's further movement towards OECD membership,” the MP emphasized.
