The President of Ukraine dismissed ambassadors to Rwanda, Kenya, Slovenia, China, Indonesia, Japan, and Lithuania. New diplomats have been appointed in their place, in particular in Rwanda, the Philippines, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia, and Congo.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed decrees dismissing Ukrainian ambassadors to Rwanda, Kenya, Slovenia, China, Indonesia, Japan, and Lithuania, and appointed Ukrainian ambassadors to Rwanda, the Philippines, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia, and Congo, UNN reports, citing the presidential decrees of December 21.

Zelensky signs dismissal decrees:

- Andrii Pravednyk from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Rwanda and Kenya

- Andrii Taran from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia

- Petro Beshta as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania

- Sergiy Korsunsky as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan

- Vasyl Hamyanin from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Indonesia and from the post of Representative of Ukraine to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations

- Pavlo Riabikin from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China

In addition, Zelenskyy dismissed Yevhenia Filipenko from the post of Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
