Information about foreign components in Russian weapons identified by experts from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice is passed on to Ukraine's Western partners. The next step is to track and block the supply chain. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Justice Andriy Haichenko in a commentary to UNN.

The representative of the Ministry of Justice noted that the supply chains of foreign components to Russia used for weapons production are quite complex and intricate. Therefore, the reaction of Western partners is not always prompt, but work in this area is ongoing.
"Dialogue with Western partners is constant, stable and constructive. When a missile, drone, or other type of weapon is examined and foreign components are found, the information is transmitted to the manufacturing countries through certain channels, and they respond. I would like to see more response, but it is difficult.
The United States does not sell its components to Russia. The Americans sell them to Canada, Brazil to Argentina, then to the Emirates, and so on. And through 20 countries, it ends up in Russia. But despite this, having identified components, we are quite successful in blocking such complex supply chains," said Andriy Haichenko.

As a result of the cooperation between Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and foreign media, three people were arrested in the Netherlands who were supplying military goods to Russia in circumvention of sanctions.
We are sincerely grateful to the international investigators whose professional activities help to block Russian routes of illegal supply of foreign microelectronics to equip enemy missiles and drones. Among the latter, we have a successful case of cooperation with journalists from the Netherlands. Their investigation led to the arrest of three people as part of a multinational investigation into an international smuggling network that was working to circumvent European sanctions against Russia. Such small local steps help to increase the effectiveness of sanctions pressure on the aggressor country,
