President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian forces in Kursk region are removing the Russian military presence and replenishing the exchange fund, UNN reports.
According to Zelensky, there have already been several reports by Chief Commander Syrsky on the frontline situation and the operation in the Kursk region.
"We see that the occupier is suffering losses, and this is useful, very useful for our defense. This concerns the destruction of the Russian army's logistics and the consumption of their reserves. We have to inflict maximum damage to all Russian positions and we are doing it. I thank each and every one of our soldiers for their accuracy, for their strength and for their resilience. Commander-in-Chief Syrsky reported on our defense efforts in Donbas: Pokrovsk direction, Toretsk direction. And also our movement in the Kursk region. We are removing the Russian military presence in the territory of our operations there and replenishing the exchange fund for our state," Zelensky summarized.
