According to observations by the observatory's weather station, two temperature records were set in the capital on March 31.
The maximum air temperature reached 25.3°C, which is 2.9°C higher than the previous record for this day in 1968.
The average daily air temperature was the highest on record for this day and reached 16.9°C, exceeding the previous record high of 1968 by 1.6°C.
"According to long-term indicators, this air temperature corresponds to May 23," the observatory reported .
