According to weather forecasters, the monthly rainfall is expected to be 35-76 mm, with 88-138 mm in the Carpathians, Prykarpattia and Transcarpathia, which is within the normal range.

The forecasters also spoke about the climatic characteristics of May. In particular, the data of long-term observations show that in May the average monthly air temperature is 13-17 degrees, and in mountainous areas it is 7-12 degrees.
Specify an absolute minimum air temperature of 0-6 degrees, sometimes up to 10 degrees below zero. The absolute maximum air temperature is 30-37 degrees Celsius.
The average monthly precipitation is 22-60 mm, with 62-91 mm in the western and Vinnytsia regions and up to 148 mm in the Carpathians.
Forecasters say that a steady transition of the average daily temperature through +15 degrees upward occurs mainly in the second, in Transcarpathia and the south of the country - in the first decade of May.
