On Friday, Vučić plans to hold the first meetings with representatives of parties supporting the government. Among the topics are the possibility of early elections and Serbia's relations with the EU.

Opposition calls negotiations meaningless

Critics of the president refuse to participate in the dialogue. Move-Change leader Savo Manojlović stated: "There should be no negotiations on free elections, an autonomous university, an independent judiciary."

We will continue to respond to Vučić only with a ruthless struggle against his regime on all fronts

– stated the political force "Green-Left Front".

Amid the protests, Vučić admitted the possibility of holding elections this year. At the same time, the situation is complicated by the need for reforms for EU integration, as well as Serbia's balancing act between the West and its ties with Russia and China.
