"Due to technical reasons, validators are temporarily out of service in public ground transportation. Specialists are already working to restore the equipment as soon as possible," KCSA said in a statement on social media.
They promise to inform about the full resumption of the validators' work later.
"Currently, you can only pay for public transportation on ground through the virtual validation service in the Kyiv Digital city app. The controllers have been warned about the technical malfunction and will not fine passengers while the restoration work is underway," the statement said.
