The United Nations (UN) Security Council will convene on Monday for an emergency meeting in connection with Russian strikes on civilian vessels in the Black Sea. This is reported in the Security Council's work program for July 27, according to UNN.

It is noted that the meeting will begin at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (5:00 PM Kyiv time). The speakers from the UN Secretariat will be the head of the Department of Political Affairs, Kayoko Goto, and the acting Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Indrika Ratwatte.
