The new car market in Ukraine grew by 24% over the month. Renault Duster became the sales leader, according to the Ukravtoprom association, UNN reports.

"The ten most popular models formed a third of the July new car market," the report said.
According to Ukravtoprom, last month, the RENAULT Duster continued to lead the Ukrainian new car market by a wide margin.
The second most popular was the TOYOTA RAV-4 crossover.
The "bronze" of the month was awarded to the HONDA M-NV electric car.
According to Ukravtoprom, the top 10 passenger cars in July 2024 included the following:
1. RENAULT Duster - 541 units;
2. TOYOTA RAV-4 - 387 units;
3. HONDA M-NV - 239 units;
4. TOYOTA Camry - 180 units;
5. MAZDA CX5 - 147 units;
6. TOYOTA Hilux - 143 units;
7. KIA Sportage - 141 units;
8. BYD Song Plus - 134 units;
9. VOLKSWAGEN Touareg - 130 units;
10. SKODA Octavia - 123 units.
Overall, the new car market reportedly rebounded significantly in July.
"About 6.4 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine last month. This is 20% more than last year," Ukravtoprom reports.
Compared to June 2024, consumer activity in the car market, as indicated, increased by 24%.
It is reported that this year more cars were bought only in March.
The Japanese brand TOYOTA continues to hold the lead in the new car market. In July, 1024 new cars of this brand joined the Ukrainian fleet. The second most popular brand, as in June, is BMW - 628 units. RENAULT took the third place - 587 units. Also in the TOP-5 in July were SKODA (378 units) and VOLKSWAGEN (334 units).
Since the beginning of the year, more than 39.2 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than in the same period in 2023.
