According to the armed forces of Ukraine, on the night of December 9 (from 19.30 on December 8), the Russian army attacked with two guided aircraft missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea, 37 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones (launch areas: Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk-RF).
As of 08.00, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile Fire groups of the air and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down two X-59/69 guided aviation missiles and 18 enemy UAVs in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Ternopil and Odessa regions. 18 drones were locally lost, one in the air. Due to the fall of downed enemy UAVs in the Vinnytsia region, the infrastructure of several private enterprises was damaged.
