Ukrainian athletes in ski acrobatics managed to win a silver medal at the World Freestyle Championships. Our compatriots scored 312.35 points. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, reports UNN.

At the competition in Engadine, Switzerland, Ukraine was represented by Angelina Brykina, Oleksandr Okipniuk and Dmytro Kotovskyi. Brykina was the first to perform in the superfinal, but she failed to land successfully while performing a somersault with two screws. Next, Okipniuk performed a triple somersault with four screws, and Kotovskyi performed "Hurricane" - the most difficult jump in ski acrobatics.
For the Ukrainian national team, this is the second award in team competitions and the fifth in history overall, according to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. Back in 2023, Anastasia Novosad, Dmytro Kotovskyi and Oleksandr Okipniuk became bronze medalists among mixed teams.
