The High Council of Justice announced 24 new vacancies to the High Anti-Corruption Court in September and Ukraine has committed itself to appointing people to them by the end of July next year. This is stated in a memorandum on financial and economic policy published on the IMF website, UNN reports.
We will ensure an open and competitive selection process for these new positions and appropriate staffing and office space. In this regard, the Public Council of International Experts will be restored with nominations from international and foreign organizations in accordance with the law, and the final appointments will be completed by the end of July 2024

Among the vacancies, 15 are directly to the HACC as a first instance and 9 - to the Appeals Chamber.
The memorandum also states that in order to further progress anti-corruption and judicial reforms, a law on rationalization of the High Anti-Corruption Court's consideration of cases by one judge or a panel of judges is planned to be adopted by the end of March 2024.
By the end of July, the law on the establishment of a new administrative court (instead of the liquidated Kyiv District Administrative Court) is to be adopted.
And the first external audit of the NABU by independent experts proposed by international partners should be conducted. Proposed structural benchmark, end of September.
