Two earthquakes have occurred in western Georgia today. This is reported by the National Seismic Monitoring Center, UNN reports.
At 17:44 Tbilisi time, earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.8 were recorded 10 km from the town of Oni in the Racha region.
A few minutes later, at 17:50, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in the same area.
In the first case, the hypocenter was at a depth of 7 kilometers, and in the second case, 10 kilometers.
There have been no reports of casualties or destruction.
