US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he does not want to make a deal with China unless the trade deficit of more than $1 trillion is resolved first, UNN reports with reference to Fox News.

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump said that some countries have trade deficits of over a billion dollars, but with China it is over $1 trillion.

"We have a trade deficit with China of $1 trillion. We lose hundreds of billions of dollars a year through China, and unless we solve that problem, I'm not going to make a deal," he said.
"I am ready to make a deal with China, but they must resolve the issue of this surplus. We have a huge deficit problem with China... I want it resolved," Trump said.
