U.S. President Donald Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Volz accidentally added a journalist to a secret chat in Signal discussing a military operation in Yemen. This was reported by The Guardian, writes UNN.

According to media reports, this happened by accident, as Trump's advisor saved the journalist's number under another person's name. The incident occurred last fall when The Atlantic's editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, sent a letter to the Trump administration accusing them of disrespecting wounded soldiers. Trump's team had to add the journalist to the chat to respond to the allegations.
This letter was forwarded to press secretary Brian Hughes, who then sent it to Volz along with Goldberg's contacts. But Volz mistakenly saved the number of The Atlantic's editor-in-chief under the name of Hughes, who is now a spokesman for the U.S. National Security Council.
