On Saturday, May 23, thunderstorms, hail, and strong wind gusts are forecast in certain regions of Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Forecasters from the Ukrhydrometcenter predict thunderstorms, and in some areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s in the eastern, southern, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions

- according to the statement from the State Emergency Service.

Drivers and pedestrians have been warned: weather conditions may lead to complications in the operation of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic disruptions.
