Since the beginning of this marketing year, which started on July 1, Ukraine has already shipped almost 3 million tonnes of grain for export, but has reduced wheat exports, the relevant ministry reported, citing data from the State Customs Service, writes UNN.

According to the data provided, as of August 12, Ukraine had exported 2.952 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops in the 2026/27 marketing year. This is 4.76% more than on August 15 last year in the 2025/26 MY. At the same time, wheat exports this year were 18.33% lower than last year. Corn exports, by contrast, were 66.38% higher this MY than last year.
At the same time, a total of 280,000 tonnes of grain have already been exported in August.
In particular, in the 2026/27 MY, the following have already been shipped for export:
- wheat - 1.239 million tonnes;
- barley - 333,000 tonnes;
- corn - 1.376 million tonnes.
No rye has been exported yet this MY.
Flour exports amounted to 2,800 tonnes.
