President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on Russia's massive strike on Ukrainian cities, emphasized that "this is terror by definition, even without any cover," UNN reports.
"All day long, of course, we are paying maximum attention to all our regions that were hit by Russian strikes last night. Everywhere where there were hits, work is underway to restore the normal situation. All services, repair crews, rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the police, and everyone involved will work 24/7 to overcome this terror to the maximum extent possible. Kharkiv and the region, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Poltava, Odesa, Khmelnytsky and the region, Vinnytsia, Frankivsk... These attacks were very vile, calculated to cause not only military damage to our ability to defend ourselves, but also structural damage to the life of society. And this is terror by definition, even without any cover," Zelensky said.
The President added that more than 30 people across the country were injured in the strikes. As of now, five people have been reported killed.
"My condolences to the families and friends. Much of the power grid is damaged," he summarized.
