The White House spokesman did not comment on the alleged offensive by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk region of Russia. When asked, he said that he would "let the Ukrainians talk about their operations.
According to him, the Ukrainian Defense Forces should be contacted for relevant comments.

I would also like to add that there is no change in our policy on facilitating or encouraging strikes inside Russia - beyond what we have allowed them to do with weapons provided in the past when it comes to striking immediate threats just across the border.
He also added that Washington wants to contact Ukrainian representatives to better understand the situation in Russia's Kursk region.
