Iceland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs has made an additional contribution of 550 thousand euros to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. Iceland's total contribution has amounted to nearly 9 million euros.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland has made an additional contribution of 550 thousand euros to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine. Iceland's total contribution has reached nearly 9 million euros, reports UNN citing the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

Details

As noted by the ministry, these funds will help purchase the energy equipment needed to prepare Ukraine for the autumn-winter period.

In total, since the establishment of the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine, grant funds amounting to over 2 billion euros have been received from 39 foreign sponsors from 26 partner countries and 3 international organizations

- the Ministry stated.

Reminder

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi stated that the unsecured need of the energy sector amounts to about 650 million euros.
