President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the situation with silence at sea remains difficult, as Moscow is trying to add some additional conditions to the agreement, which does not contain any preconditions. Zelenskyy said this during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, reports UNN.

Recently, our delegations from Ukraine and the United States discussed ceasefires regarding energy and in the Black Sea. The technical issues remain. Regarding the Black Sea, the situation remains more complicated, Moscow is trying to add some additional conditions to the agreement, which does not contain any preconditions. We expect the American side to ensure the unconditional nature of silence at sea. Also, since March 11, there has been a proposal on the table from the American side regarding unconditional silence on the entire front, in the sky and at sea. So far, Russia rejects such complete silence, which is a clear sign that Russia wants to continue this war, it is prolonging it

- Zelenskyy said.

According to him, pressure is needed on Russia so that the war really ends.

Sanctions against Russia must remain in effect and be strengthened for as long as the Russian occupation lasts. Every Russian strike, any attempts by the Russians require a response, and this can only be new pressure, including new sanctions. Moscow does not understand any language other than the language of force

- added Zelenskyy.
