In a year and three months, six billion foreign currency revenues were returned to Ukraine thanks to the order signed by the Odessa RMA on the procedure for submitting documents for the export of grain products. This was announced on December 2 during the Odessa regional meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities by the chairman of RMA Oleg Kiper, reports UNN.

It should be noted that in pre-war times, a tax return was submitted after the goods were sent abroad. By order of the RMA, the procedure for submitting a tax invoice before submitting a customs declaration was changed. This made it possible for the tax and BEB to check the origin of grain.
Later, this practice was implemented throughout the country — the corresponding order was signed by President Zelensky.
"The legislator and experts saw that in practice this order, which is valid only in the territory of the Odessa region, has implemented a lot of new processes. And they really work. Because a "one-day" firm can't afford to export. We just don't let her through, according to the order. Everyone started registering legal entities that paid taxes and returned foreign currency earnings," the keeper said.
We add that the order was signed in August 2023 and since then has blocked the possibility of exporting agricultural products purchased from farmers for "cash" through the ports of the Odessa region. Many market players took the innovation critically, but in the end, both business and the state benefited from it.
