Spokesperson for the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, Rafał Leskiewicz, stated that it is the Prime Minister and the ministers subordinate to him who have all the necessary tools to counteract violence and bring the perpetrators to justice. The Prime Minister Tusk and his ministers: Kierwiński, Siemoniak, or Żurek are responsible for safety on Polish streets. Hence the conclusion that the Prime Minister should admit his guilt, because it is during his tenure that Polish streets are becoming less and less safe
He emphasized that the head of state maintains the position that all cases of aggression should be resolutely responded to, regardless of the nationality of the victims.
It is the government officials who have all the tools to fight the pathologies, physical or verbal aggression that has been observed recently. The President expects the Prime Minister to finally get to work and make his ministers work
He added that law enforcement agencies should prosecute individuals who commit violence "whether against Ukrainians, representatives of other nationalities, or primarily against Poles."
Any form of aggression deserves condemnation, any aggression - both physical and verbal - should be punished. The perpetrators of brutal beatings or verbal violence need to be promptly detained and brought to justice before a court. Instead of political slogans and political games that Donald Tusk engages in, the Prime Minister and his ministers should simply focus on hard daily work
The spokesperson also noted that the President does not intend to respond to every statement by the head of government.
