The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the “Affordable Medicines” program, which, in particular, provides for the possibility to purchase medicines with the funds of the winter “eSupport”, and expands the list of medicines that can be purchased under the program.

A separate area of winter support is the "even more affordable medicines"program. The program "affordable medicines" for 5 years was used by more than 5 million Ukrainians, 15 thousand pharmacies are connected to it, almost 600 drugs are available to people, more than a third of them are completely free of charge, the rest are partially paid. The program is now being upgraded
According to him, the government's decisions provide for: inclusion in the list of new medicines.
This is plus 30 new active ingredients.
In particular, drugs for rheumatological, neurological, eye and endocrinological diseases;
expansion of the program for children-to the program medicines in the form of drops and ointments;
expansion of the network of pharmacies that will be involved in the program.
In particular, it will be joined by all pharmacies that operate in hospitals;
obligations for pharmacies to offer customers first drugs at the lowest price, taking into account the active substance;
the opportunity to purchase Ukrainian-made medicines at the expense of winter "support".

In 2025, the Affordable Medicines Program will be expanded. More than 30 new drugs will be added, including medicines for children and new forms of medicines, and the program budget will amount to UAH 6.6 billion.
