Delegates of the IX Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine elected three deputy chairmen of the FPU. They are Vasyl Andreyev, Yevhen Drapiatyi, and Ihor Moskalenko. This was reported to UNN by the Federation's press service.
The Congress approved the candidacies of Vasyl Andreyev, Yevhen Drapiatyi, and Ihor Moskalenko for the positions of deputy chairmen of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine
Vasyl Andreyev has headed the Trade Union of Construction and Building Materials Industry Workers of Ukraine since 2010. In addition, since May 25, 2021, he held the position of deputy chairman of the FPU, where he worked on a voluntary basis.
Yevhen Drapiatyi served as Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Housing and Communal Services of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2011-2012, and since December 2012, he has worked as deputy chairman of the FPU.
Ihor Moskalenko heads the Federation of Trade Union Organizations of the Chernihiv Region and has worked as deputy chairman of the FPU since December 2025.
In addition, Yevhenii Hostiuminskyi, who previously headed the legal protection department of the Federation's staff, was elected as acting deputy chairman of the FPU.
Addendum
On Thursday, June 21, Serhii Byzov won the election for the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine. His candidacy was supported by 280 delegates through an open vote.
The plans of the newly elected FPU chairman include strengthening the trade union movement and active cooperation with business. According to him, an audit of all trade union property, a personnel review, and the formation of a strong management team will also be conducted. Furthermore, an audit of laws passed without proper social dialogue will be carried out on the basis of the Federation of Trade Unions and the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council (NTSEC).
In addition, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously appointed Serhii Byzov as the chairman of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council.
Oleksii Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, became the co-chairman of the NTSEC, and Denys Ulyutin, Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, became his deputy. Anatolii Kinakh, head of the Association of Employers' Organizations of Ukraine, became another co-chairman of the NTSEC representing the employers.
