The European official also pointed out that the European Commission presented the Ukraine Plan, which was submitted a few weeks ago. "It focuses on structural reforms to overcome barriers to growth, investments in key sectors, and measures to facilitate Ukraine's convergence with EU rules and standards as part of its accession path. This will be the main instrument for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility," he said.
As for the next steps: The European Commission is assessing Ukraine's plan with a view to compiling quarterly indicators of reforms and investments that need to be implemented to unlock future disbursements.
