The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved four candidates for the positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the National Energy Company Ukrenergo. This is stated in the relevant government decree, reports UNN.

- Patrick Greichen, who worked for the Federal Ministry of environment in Germany.
- Luigi De Francisco, former top manager of the Italian energy company Terna.
- Eppe Kofoda, former MEP and former Danish Foreign Minister.
- Jan Montell, former chairman of the Board of Directors of Nord Pool as.

In September, the Ministry of energy of Ukraine started competitive selection for three positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo. A professional consultant was involved in the selection process. The deadline for appointment was Set on December 9, because, according to Prime Minister Shmyhal, the appointment of new members of the supervisory board and chairman of the management board of Ukrenergo is one of the indicators of the program of cooperation with the IMF.
